Bellingham, Washington Relocation

Bellingham is currently the largest city in Whatcom County and the tenth largest in Washington. In 2003, a census had shown that 71,289 people were currently residing in this area; this number has simply gone up as the years have gone by. The city of Bellingham is located on the Bellingham Bay, which is beside the Lummi Island, Portage Island, and the Lummi Peinsula. Bellingham also opens into the Strait of Georgia. The city itself sits between Lake Whatcom which is the resource for the area's drinking water, and just north of the Chuckanut Mountains and Skagit Valley.
In earlier years, this town was particularly a coal miners town and a well used seaport. With such abundant natural resources on all sides of them, it really helped the town in these years. Today, the town of Bellingham has mordenized into yet another growing town. It is home to several educational institutions, including Whatcom Community College, Bellingham Technical College, Evergreen Team Concepts, Trinity Western, Lean Leadership Institute, Fairhaven College, Huxley College, and the Woodring College of Education.
